This book came up on Amazon when I was purchasing something else. I loved the title, and quite honestly it was an impulse purchase. I have to remember to trust my intuition more often.

This slim (97 pages) book is packed with research from the author's company and will help you better understand the causes, complexities and significant impacts of employee disengagement. Beyond that it suggests approaches leaders can employ to avoid, diffuse and correct this debilitating situation.

The books' subtitle tells the story (as it so often does): "Attacking the Spreading Virus of Disengagement." The virus is real, and this book helps us see that more clearly.

If you are looking for an expansive or academic view of this situation, find a different book. It may not be the only book you want to own on this topic, but it offers real solutions. And while short, it is a very valuable addition to your leadership and management book collection.
