The PeopleSmart Scale (Self)

Use The PeopleSmart Assessment that follows to estimate your interpersonal intelligence. Like an IQ test, it is scaled so that the average score is 100. Because it is a self-test, however, your answers will be subjective. Therefore, the more honest you are when you take the test, the more valid your score will be. Also, your standards may be different than others who use this assessment. Use as your benchmark other people you know. As you take the test, consider choosing one or two of the following as your frame of reference:

  • Your partner
  • Your friends
  • Your children
  • Your parents
  • Your boss
  • Your colleagues
  • Your assistants
  • Your customer

Better yet, invite some of these people to give you their views about your PeopleSmart skills as well! Encourage them to complete the Observer Assessment on you. You can send them an email and enclose the following link:

If you don't want to ask them to do the assessment for you, just use your results from this to have a conversation with them. They will appreciate you wanting your opinion, and you will benefit from that opinion.

Please complete the Assessment below. Your results will be emailed to you.
